The East Midlands group was formed in 2003 by Elizabeth Brackenbury (Sarah Matheson's sister) and draws members from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire.

Meetings are held in the Spring and Autumn, occasionally with a speaker, in Holme Peirrepont Hall, Nottingham. Usually 2pm to 4pm, no charge. Refreshments provided.
