The Sarah Matheson Trust has funds available for a number of research Project Grants. By funding research the Trust hopes both to improve understanding of the fundamental cause and pathogenesis of MSA and by supporting research which focuses on relieving symptoms, improve the quality of life of patients with MSA.

Applying for a grant:

Applications are invited for 3 year Project Grants of up to £180,000. Candidates must be employed by the UK institution in which they intend to undertake the work.

To apply for a grant you need to download the Project Grant Application Form. This should be read in conjunction with the SMT Research Grant Terms & Conditions.

Completed applications should be submitted electronically to office@msaweb.co.uk, and in hard copy (with signatures) to The Sarah Matheson Trust, Pickering Unit, St Mary's Hospital, Praed Street, London, W2 1NY.

The closing date for applications is 31st March 2008.
